About Me

September 30th, 2015

MG_5470Hi,

I’ve graduated from Bogazici University Computer Engineering Department at July 2007. Since then, although the company name that I’ve been working at has been changed a few times, I’ve been working for Siemens at software engineering projects. Most of the projects that I’ve contributed are in automation field. The most significant software application projects that I’ve been contributed to are S7-PCT and TIA-Portal.

Three weeks after my graduation, I had moved to Germany and worked in Nuremberg between 07.2007 and 06.2012. Afterwards, I’ve moved back to Turkey, married at July 2012, and started working for Siemens A.Ş. at August 2012. Currently, I work as a project manager in Turkey branch of PROFINET Stack project, which I’ve worked as a developer for a period of time in Germany.

If we rewind back more, I’ve graduated from Nazilli Beseylul Primary School, Nazilli Anatolian High School and Aydin Science High School. After that, I started studying at the university department that I’ve dreamt of with the OSS quantiative rank of 358 (of ~1.5 million people). My verbal rank at that exam was 1.

I started blogging at my university years. At that time, I thought that I can remember the (mostly technical) things by blogging. It would also give me the chance of playing with some web technologies. After some time, I’ve also started writing about non-technical topics. Unfortunately, I lost all my posts twice because of hosting problems since the page got online. As usual, I also couldn’t find the backups that I’ve taken. Nevertheless, I don’t think that I lost much since I didn’t blog often.

Normally, I prefer to write in my native tongue Turkish, so the English content in this site is somewhat limited.

If you want to contact with me, you can use the information written at my CV.
